About Us
The new Salon Rouge encompasses 2,000 square feet of bright space, in a balanced mix of red, black and white modernity in “Dalhousie North” – Ottawa’s hottest new fashion district in the upper Byward Market.
Salon Rouge offers clients everything from no nonsense, maintenance-free looks for the busy business professional, to the hottest hair styles straight from the pages of the latest fashion magazines. Our stylists are equipped with the best techniques and latest trends to provide you with your own personal style.
Salon Rouge is owned and operated by Amir Azadi, who was crowned Best Colourist of the Year in 2002 by the Schwarzkopf Academy and is a certified master cutter and master colourist.
AMIR AZADI
Amir (Amir Azadi) is the award-winning master stylist behind Ottawa’s phenomenal Salon Rouge.
With almost 15 years of experience and premiere training throughout Europe and the United States, Amir’s talent and stylistic vision ensures that his customers’ expectations are exceeded.
Amir’s expertise in hair care and fashion was fostered through training with renowned salons and stylists such as the world famous Tony & Guy, the legendary Vidal Sassoon and the Sebastian Cutting Team. A certified master colorist and master cutter, Amir was crowned Best Colourist of the Year in 2002 by the Schwarzkopf Academy.
Amir brought his professional skills to Ottawa in 1992 working with a number of established salons before opening Salon Rouge in 2004 on Dalhousie St. at the upper end of Ottawa’s Byward Market. His clientele ranges from those looking for the hottest new hair trends to business executives, politicians and even the occasional international celebrity such as Yasmin Bleethe of Baywatch fame.
In 2007 Amir supported the rejuvenation of Dalhousie St. and completed a major expansion of Salon Rouge doubling its size and adding a number of top tier stylists, to become one of the Market’s largest salons and a business anchor in the middle of condo developments and boutiques in Ottawa’s burgeoning trendy fashion district – “Dalhousie North.”

Glue and Extensions
Glue-based extensions are used to attach new hair to your already existing hair, using a strong, protein-based bond. Salon Rouge will use a fairly low temperature and the process will not harm hair or scalp.
